1. How do I begin creating rich media ads with Virtual Iris?

It’s simple. From the Select column, you select your existing digital assets (video, flash, images, etc.) by pointing to the URL from the server on which they are hosted. Then, you drag and drop where ever you want them displayed.

2. Can I create a landing page or webpage too?

Yes, you can create landing pages, web pages and microsites following the same steps as noted in #1.

3. How do I add my flash file or video?

There are a few options.

·    You simply fill in the URL to where the digital asset is located. e.g. .swf,  .flv,  .mp4, .mov
·    You copy the flash embed code into the Flash Rollover (or Click) from HTML option.
·    Or, if you already have the html code including javascript for your flash presentation, simply paste it into one of the HTML features

4. How do I drop my finished rich media product into a web page?

You copy the HTML code that you created using Virtual Iris from the Get column on the far right of the Virtual Iris interface. From there, you paste it into text editor, Dreamweaver or whatever design software you are using to create your web page, or whatever platform you are using to distribute your ad or webpage. In terms of tags for ad distribution, the HTML code itself can be used as a tag, or tags can be produced depending on your requirements.

5. How can I view the tracking for the ad or page that I created?

By default, every ad you create has the tracking option automatically turned on.  You simply go to the item you created and click on ‘tracking’ to see detailed metrics and reporting statistics in order to track efficacy.

6. How can I make my ad iPhone compatible?

Go to Settings tab on the upper right of the screen. Check the box that indicates iPhone compatibility ‘on.’

7. How do I upload data capture forms?

There are two ways to add data capture forms using Virtual Iris. From the Select > Forms section, you can create a custom data capture form by creating each form element (name, address, etc.) individually using a Virtual Iris wizard that steps you through the process. You can place these form elements anywhere you want, and even resize them however you want.  Or, you can simply copy and paste any existing HTML form you already have.

8. What is a hotspot?

A hotspot is a way of earmarking an area on your presentation so that when you rollover it, more information will be displayed.
